Apparatus: Vapo Scan measuring transepidermal water loss (TEWL)

Sebum improvement tests

Maintenance of sufficient levels of sebum on the skin after using the test product is evaluated.
Apparatus: Sebumeter (sebum quantity is measured by light transmittance)

Skin elasticity improvement tests

Improvement in skin elasticity after using the test product is evaluated.
Apparatus: Cutometer (measuring skin elasticity)

Whitening tests

Improvement in skin color and pigmentation after using the test product is evaluated.
Apparatus: Colorimeter (measuring skin color)

Skin texture improvement tests

Improvement in skin texture after using the test product is evaluated.
Apparatus: Microscope (observation of skin surface)
